Working towards a bully-free Alberta: Wilson

CALGARY, AB (February 27, 2013): To commemorate Pink Shirt Day against bullying in Alberta, Wildrose Official Opposition Human Services Critic Jeff Wilson issued the following statement: “I am proud to wear pink today and to stand united with Albertans against bullying.

Pink Shirt day is an important time to mark steps taken to eliminate bullying and to unite against bullies wherever they may be. “We wear pink to stand united against those who think they can intimidate and disrespect others to get their way and who think the rules don’t apply to them. Today, we raise awareness for those who may need help dealing with bullies, whether in their schools, neighbourhoods or other institutions. “Pink Shirt Day is an important reminder that we can all work together to make Alberta bully-free.”
