David Price is a born-and-raised Albertan and has been involved with the Wildrose Party since 2009. He is motivated to help build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Alberta.
David firmly believes that the Wildrose Party must hold true to its core principles of fiscal conservatism and social responsibility. These principles have in the past guided Alberta through good times and bad with great success. These are the principles that will always put Albertans first with a low-tax environment that allows free enterprise to flourish. These principles will also ensure our children and our children’s children will not live in a province with irresponsible debt hanging over their heads.
David believes absolutely in grassroots democracy. Our Executive Committee must lead by example. Not only must we hold our politicians to the highest standards of ethics and integrity, but ourselves as well. Transparency and accountability must be our watchwords as much as fiscal conservatism and social responsibility are. We must not only be seen to listen to our members, but we must actually hear and consider what they tell us.
David has a JD from the University of Western Ontario and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta. He is an associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP with a broad practice that focuses on corporate commercial litigation, labour and employment, energy and environmental regulation, and taxation. David helped found Wildrose’s Calgary-Foothills Constituency Association in 2009 and has served three terms as its President.
