Gord Elliott was elected as Provincial Director - Calgary in October 2016.
Gord Elliott is a retired Chemical Engineer who worked for NOVA Chemicals in its petrochemicals and plastics business for 22 years. He retired involuntarily in 2003 and has dedicated himself to politics ever since, primarily in the federal sphere for the Conservative Party of Canada. He has served as a director of various Electoral District Associations for 16 years and been a delegate to all 5 of the party’s National Conventions. He served on the party’s National Council as a representative of the Members who live in Alberta from 2007 to 2013. Gord contested the nomination in Calgary Rocky Ridge in 2015 unsuccessfully. He has now turned his attention to provincial politics and has dedicated himself to defeating the NDP in 2019. As a Provincial Director for Calgary, Gord will work closely with Lenore Eaton to help build strong constituency associations in the 25 electoral divisions in Calgary.
