Most people know Bruce as a television personality. For the last decade he has worked for Global Television, and the last seven as the host of the morning news. He’s been fortunate to have seen much of the country through this career, broadcasting in Winnipeg, Halifax and Victoria. He has spent 25 of his 40 years in Alberta and is still kidded about the first show he hosted, “Barter with Bruce” on Monarch Cable 10 in Medicine Hat. He brings the same personal approach to politics that he brought to the television – common sense, passion, and a quick wit.
“I firmly believe The Alberta Advantage was created by the people of this province and supported by government.” Somewhere along the way it seems our current government got those two things backwards. I’m excited to run for the Wildrose Party. A party committed to listening to and consulting with the very people that make this province special. I am honoured to represent the people of Chestermere Rocky View in the Legislature.”
