Whereas the Province of Alberta spends more per capita than any other province;

Whereas the Province of Alberta brings in more government revenue than any other province;

Whereas the people of Alberta believe government should live within its means without resorting to tax increases to balance the budget;

We, the undersigned Wildrose Leader and MLAs, pledge that – if elected – we shall not increase existing taxes, nor shall we introduce new sales taxes, health-related premiums or taxes of any other kind.
