A life of luxury? Redford expense total $246,788.65

EDMONTON, AB (October 4, 2012): Plush hotels, expensive champagne bottles and a list of lavish tabs add in to a total of almost $247,000 charged to Alberta taxpayers by Premier Alison Redford since 2008. 

 While the Wildrose Official Opposition applauds the move by Premier Redford to release her expenses, she failed to keep her promise to post them online and available for the public to see. 

The Wildrose puts Albertans first and is releasing the totals for Albertans to decide if you think Redford is spending your tax dollars wisely.

 “We know the job of Premier comes with extra costs, but many of these expenses show a Premier who believes she is entitled to live a life of luxury off the taxpayer,” Wildrose Official Opposition Leader Danielle Smith said.  “Spending up to $1,700 on booze, or over $900 for a one night stay in Washington D.C. shows that Premier Redford is completely out of touch with the reality of hardworking Albertans.”
