Exhibit A - Redford's cover up on health care: Forsyth
EDMONTON, AB (March 5, 2012): Premier Alison Redford’s broken promise on calling a public inquiry into political interference and physician intimidation is symptomatic of a PC culture of corruption that must stop. Forsyth asked Premier Alison Redford in Question Period today why she failed to stand by her word to call an inquiry into physician intimidation and why she is ignoring the scathing Health Quality Council of Alberta report that states 20 per cent of doctors experience “active harmful obstruction” when advocating for patients.
“Albertans may never know who needs to be held accountable and the culture of corruption will be allowed to continue unchecked,” Forsyth said. “Why does the Premier insist on covering up her government’s bad behavior, and why does she refuse to do the right thing and call an inquiry into intimidation?” The Wildrose Caucus stands for free enterprise, less government, increased personal freedom and democracy.
