    THE ORIGINAL APRIL 14 DATE WAS POSTPONED DUE TO CONFLICT WITH THE BUDGET DAY ANNOUNCEMENT.  THE RESCHEDULED DATE IS SEPTEMBER 22, 2016.  TICKETS PURCHASED FOR THE ORIGINAL DATE WILL BE HONORED FOR THE NEW DATE.


    This is our classic annual multi-constituency association fundraiser that greatly helps the Wildrose's cause and is a great social gathering of our greatest supporters.  Always a sell-out and a really good time with great wine and conversations.  This year we will de-emphasize the speech, and encourage more one-on-one conversations and mingling.  Sign up now, and bring friends!

    Join us for the 2016 Wildrose Annual General Meeting on October 28 & 29 at the Sheraton Red Deer Hotel!

     

     The 2016 Constitutional and Member Passed Policy Amendment Packages have been sent out.  Any submissions must be received by August 29 at 5:00pm and can be submitted either by email to policy@wildrose.ca or by fax to 1-866-620-4791.  If you are a member who did not receive a package and would like to receive one, please contact policy@wildrose.ca.

     

    The Executive Committee Nominations are now open.  

    The Nominating Committee will be accepting nominations from members interested in seeking election to the Executive Committee until 5pm on September 23, 2016.

    The following positions will be elected at the 2016 Annual General Meeting, to serve until the 2018 Annual General Meeting:

    • Treasurer;
    • Vice-President, Membership;
    • Vice-President, Communications;
    • Vice-President, Policy; and
    • a Provincial Director for each of the Northern, Southern, Central, Edmonton and Calgary zones.

    Due to vacancies that arose on the Executive Committee and interim appointments that have been made between general meetings, the following positions will be elected at the 2016 Annual General Meeting, to serve until the 2017 Annual General Meeting:

    • Vice-President, Fundraising; and
    • a Provincial Director for the Northern zone.

    These are volunteer, unpaid positions. Time commitments vary from 10 to more hours per month, depending on each position.  More information concerning the duties of each position can be found in the Party Constitution (available online at: http://www.wildrose.ca/).
